Did you know the difference between a certificate and license? CertificateA certificate is a symbol of completion, that a student has taken a course provided by a company. Typically a Certificate of completion, is given out at the end of a lash extension training. LicenseA license is a legal documentation created by the state. Licenses refer to beauty licenses encompassing aesthetician and cosmetology. In some states there’s specifically a lash extension license available. It depends on what state that you are in. Every state is different on the regulations and laws pertaining to lash extensions. Interested in knowing your states Laws and Rules pertaining to Lash Extensions? Simply use google. Search "board of cosmetology (your state)" When you are on your states website for the Board of Cosmetology then search the word lash extensions. The laws and rules pertaining to lash extensions will show as Statutes. My Opinions:Certificates: When you are looking for a lash training, I highly recommend diving into knowing more about their training agenda and process. As well as, knowing who the educator is and their background as an educator. Doing lashes and teaching lashes are two different concepts. Going through an amazing training course is an experience you will reflect on often. It will continually give you information to grow from and the mentor should always be there for your questions. In Ida Jane’s training programs, we are proud of the continued education, continued access to education and teaching through different learning styles. When you purchase a training, you gain instant access to online training videos, the manual, take quizzes and then arrive to the hands on learning. By starting with the online videos, and written manual, plus graphics, the student is able to digest the information, visually see the work done, understand the expectations, and feel energized to progress to the hands on skill. The hands on learning continues going over the foundations of lashes and product knowledge. We believe in the see one, do one, teach one method of comprehending. After the hands on training the student has forever access to videos, updated videos and mentoring. There are 7 Learning Styles… 🌟🌟🌟For YOUR success, it is important to know how you learn best.
