Clients typically struggle to lay on a massage table to spend hours of their time to get their lashes done. Performing a lash appointment can be a struggle especially when you are pressured for time. Let’s be honest both the client and the lash artists want amazing lashes in 1.5 hours or less, right?!
I am so grateful to my beginning clients who have started with me from the beginning. The beginning, when they would spend 4 to 5 hours for a full set on my couch. I’m grateful for those who have allowed me to experiment trying new techniques. These clients gave me their patience and time so that I can practice and develop my skill to be faster and better. It is my hope, that my tips and experiments will help you to be faster and better from the get go. Here’s my lashing secrets for you, my lash sister! Struggling with lashes sticking? Is your glue not drying fast enough? Are the lashes popping off during an appointment when you brush them? Annoyed that you are needing to change to a different bottle of glue because your lash rooms environment changed? Or the seasons changed? I have experienced these issues too. It’s extremely frustrating. But I have found the adhesive that works for me. "I am not a huge fan of changing to new adhesives. The Lyly adhesive works the best for me and my clients, producing great retention. So why change a good thing." When the seasons change, your adhesive will react differently. Do you change your room humidity and temperature to match your adhesive needs?
