HaPpy Thanksgiving!!

As I sit in my quiet house with my kids asleep in bed, I am pondering the things I am most thankful for in my lash career. I am thankful for:
  1. Courtney- the woman I babysat for, who first introduced me to lashes, She got me connected with a lash training and on my feet. I am so thankful she didn’t keep lashing to herself, especially in 2013 when she was one of the original lash artists in Queen Creek, AZ.
  2. Liz- My first ever Lash trainer. Thank you for sharing your lash information even in such a short time. This training launched me into a new world of things to think about. Because of this training I went on to find so many other talented lash artists in the industry via YouTube and social media. In 2013, there was hardly any lash information for free with videos on YouTube. If you have never seen Frankie Widows, you must. Iconic!
  3. My Husband- (no he could never rank this far down on my thankful list. He’s always my number one!) Kameron has given me so many opportunities to continue to pursue lashes.
My list goes on…

When I started lashing, I was in college at Alaska Fairbanks- UAF, playing volleyball and doing lashes out of our studio apartment. I had no idea that lashes would: 1. Bring me a good income 2. Send me to beauty school 3. Bring me so many great friends and connections.

Shout out to all my clients!!! My OGs … Wow! So thankful you allowed me to practice on you for hours at a time. I wish I could do your lashes again to show you everything I’ve learned and to really treat you in return, for all your help in my lash journey.

. My current clients. My heart is full with love and friendship. I am thankful for you.

LASH ARTISTS! If I have visited you, or if you are sharing tips on social media, I’m thankful for you! You are making this industry better. You are making lash artists better just by sharing the little things you do.
For example: my friend, Sarah from @foreverlashaz. I got a big tip from her when she would do my lashes. At the end of every appointment she would have me tilt my chin to the ceiling. This head movement would allow her to check for lashes stuck on the gel pad or to bottom, sneaky, lashes. This may have been a little thing for her lash flow but this was an Awh ha moment for me!

I am thankful for the tips lash artists are sharing! We have to share in order to connect, grow and become better. Thank you for sharing.

The photo is from a mega volume training I took this past year. With Light Heart Lash. I’m grateful and thankful to my lash sisters who continue to push me forward. This industry is amazing with beautiful boss babes everywhere.

I hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving!
