3 Tips to Discover Your Lash Brand
Are you finding different templates/pictures on Pinterest or Canva to use for your social media? Each time you create a quote for social media… or Show your weekly openings for appointments on your stories… Do you use a different and random background? I used to do this too. Then, I would look at other high end companies and think “wow that’s so pretty! I’m going to try something like that next time.” I would, but later I would look at my feed and realize I’m NOT showing up the way I want my brand to look. (Stay Tuned 😘) How can I create a brand that my audience connects with? Knowing Your Audience Let’s start with your ideal client or Audience. If you believe that your audience is every woman who has lashes or just someone who takes care of their lashes, tips well, and does aftercare, then you are missing the mark. There is so much more to knowing your audience. Know your audience! Every. Single. Detail! There is a series of questions you need to know about your audience. You need to narrow down who you are servicing and the best way to do that is in the details. Here a just a few questions to know about your one audience member: Name: Age: Demographic: Income: Reasons they want your service: Fears or myths they believe: Brand pillars: It’s about understanding your company on a deeper level. It’s having intention, focus, and purpose. Brand pillars are the values and characteristics that make up your brand. Your brand pillars are about how the brand communicates the message to the world. Brand pillars help share that massage by defining the fundamental points that set your company apart from competitors. The main brand pillars are purpose, perception, identity, values, and brand experience. In each category there are series of questions to ask to discover the core beliefs. You want to clearly define these beliefs because they are essentially a magnet to customers who share similar values. Brand Identity :
What is your brand identity? Is it aligned with your ideal client/audience and brand pillars? Your brand Identity covers: Logo, colors, typography, photography mood, texture, and voice. Some of this is touched on when you dive in deep into understanding your brand pillars. Interested in a branding kit workbook?
