Happy New Year!!As we head into the new year that means new beginnings, ideas, and goals to take on. It can be rather exciting starting out the new year. Are you looking for an online booking system that is great for you and your clients? If so, you must read more of this blog. I am going to explain why I chose Vcita for my online booking system. I hope this gives you some ideas for what is important when looking for a system.
Why have a stock of all the different lash curls and in different diameters??
Every time I do a Full Set of lashes or a fill I do my absolute best to lash as many lashes as possible. Now, not everyone has super strong and long lashes all throughout their whole lid. Even people with long and strong lashes have new “baby” lashes starting to grow. Those “baby” lashes are actually new lashes that are starting the first growth stage cycle. Since they are new and baby-like, I would never want to use an extension that is longer or thicker than the natural lash. If I did choose to put a thick and long extension on, then it would cause some serious damage to the natural lash. It would be like carrying your whole load of groceries with only your pinky for two weeks. Ouch! That would be so sore and cause damaging affects… I have spent my fair share on different glues, nano misters, different brands of lashes, primers, and anything else I could find that would help my clients keep their lashes on longer. I used to believe that it was always the clients fault for loosing their extensions prematurely, as I thought maybe I hadn't educated them well enough on how to take care of their new lashes. I soon realized that this was not the case as it started happening to every client! It turned out a glue I had bought wasn't very strong and therefore caused the lashes to fall off within only a few days to a week of eachother. Thanks to all my fellow lash artists out there, and personal experience, here is what I recommend to having the best possible retention.
